Cubscout camp 1998

(The nice aliens of "Coco-Flanel")

Once again we travelled by coach to our own campingsite in  " 't Schijf" where the tents were already pitched. It was this year not as warm as the years before (our swimmingpool was only used a couple of times) but in general we were lucky because most of the rain fell when the cubs were sleeping or eating and almost every part of the planned program could go on.

In the woods we build large fortresses in which we had our lunch and in which we had a big "snowball" fight (Instead of snowballs we used small bags filled with chalk powder). We baked our own bread on a stick. We had our own Olympics and of course we had an encounter with the aliens who had a crash landing because a part of their rocket fell off after a collision with a meteor.

The cubs had a wonderful time and after 7 days they were very tiered but very satisfied. The photographs below tell their own story and if you look at the faces of the kids you will see that the camp was a success.
